Despite the drugs on the market are "for everyone", it is actually possibile that the recommended average dose is too high or too low for you, depending on your genetic variants and that a dose adjustment is therefore necessary; or, it is possibile that certain side effects are more likely for you or that the expected therapeutic effect of a particular drug doesn't satisfy you and it's therefore preferable to use a different drug.
